I know it's hard, but by being foster parents, you are doing such a wonderful thing! Just by showing them a little bit of love and attention, you are setting them down a (hopefully) much happier path. Alex's foster mom was so wonderful; she only had him for a month or so, but I really think she helped him become the loving, wonderful little guy he is today!
