I never realized that holding yourself to a high standard was considered being a snob. I learn something new on this site every day.
I really hope the OP hasn't run off completely. She had misgivings about the person she was looking at buying a pup from. Rightly so, IMO. This thread, though it went off on a tangent, ended up giving an insight in to the rationalizations that go through the mind of someone who breeds poorly and for the wrong reasons. If she does come back, please remember that when you choose your breeder, you are condoning their breeding practices.
