My boys turned 5 in Sept and I think they thought they earned the right to sleep in now. They used to get up when I got up, now they lay around in bed and fall back asleep.
Our night ritual is to cuddle in my bed for a bit and then put them in their bed at the foot of my bed with a blanket over them. Most mornings I wake up to find one under the covers between my legs and the other between our pillows sleeping away.
Sometimes we get up in the morning and they are still in their bed amazingly and they don't even stir. There was one time I was up for a good hour before they showed their sleepy faces in the living room! LOL
I was sick one time and went to bed at 5pm and did not get up until noon the next day, we had out of town company that night (well that week) and no matter who was up and making noise, my bf said they did not get up one time to leave my side. He had to physically pick them up and carry them outside to do their business twice! Talk about lazy! LOL
