Sammy goes out everyday (only on a leash, never allowed to run free) except if the weather is bitter cold, deep snow or a nor'easter. My boy is getting older and has some health concerns, so when the weather is too cold, etc., my baby stays in. I think all dogs should get some fresh air and exercise each day, unless they have a medical problem that would get worse. We always have to put their well being first.
