I was a nervous wreck too (for a spay). We waited until Lucy was 3.8 lbs.

Be sure and read the Anesthesia Protocol sticky and perhaps, print it out, and take it with you to the vet. You can then see if they follow all the recommended precautions and the recommended anesthesia for these little ones.

Another little peace of mind.
