I took Ella to the vet yesterday and she received her Rabies, 2nd Distemper and a dewormer (which the vet said, "Well, it won't hurt her if she doesn't have any worms") About 15 minutes after her shots she started scratching her face and ears on anything. I started driving back to the vet immediatley and she threw up three times on the way over.
Went I arrived he said she was breathing fine and gave me some antihistamine to give her a couple doses of. He said it was common in small breeds (Ella is 2 lbs 7 oz) because of their size. (I would have been more then willing to go back then next day if it would have prevented this!) She is much better now, but I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem? If it actually is common? I don't want her to have to go through that everytime! Thank you so much!
