 My dog won't stop whining?
My 3 and a half month old female yorkie, Stitch, won't stop whining whenever I'm not around. I keep her in my room and let her roam the hallways (never let her in the living room/kitchen alone), and she has a kong, balls, squeaky toy and a little toy rabbit and this little fake bone with treats on it. Everytime I'm out of the room, she starts to whine and bark a bit. And it's only been the third day she's with us.
I'm trying to spend maximum 30 minutes a day with her alone so she'll get used to the fact I won't be here all the time because next week school is starting and I can't be there for her except for morning, lunch and afternoons. |
