I agree with getting some books on potty training. My son wasn't trained until he was 3 1/2 but my daughter trained at 2. I used the pull ups with him and he didn't care if he went in them. With my daughter I was a little tougher and I just put her in regular cotton underwear. She hated being wet so she trained really fast! I know I'm not the norm but I never even used a potty seat.
I bought the little seat that goes on the big toilet. Sometimes I would just have them sit there for a little while and if they went I made a HUGE deal out of it!
I was so happy not to have to change diapers anymore but I'm still wiping butt! When do they wipe themselves?
