I'm glad Zach's ok, and I'm glad you were able to get him the help he needed. I've had many different dogs over the years, and Joey's my first small dog and my first Yorkie. In the first year, I had to take him to the emergency room twice, none of my other dogs ever had to go to the emergency room, but things that wouldn't harm a larger breed, can kill a yorkie, so I suggest everyone budget in emergency room fees! Just like new parents have to "baby proof" their homes, Yorkie owners have to ”yorkie proof" their homes and yards.
