Our vet uses the dissolving stitches as well. I couldn't see Denali's stitches when we picked him up but he was red and swollen. He was practically leaping out of the nurses arms to get to me. He slept a whole lot yesterday but today he is as good as new. I am very glad that my vet uses the dissolving stitches and not another method because i really like my vet and probably would have ended up going elsewhere for his neuter if that were the case.
Oh and i just checked when i got home and the swelling has gone down quite a bit! He is just barely swollen now. I worry so much!!
