He is warning you about lameness and excessive tiredness because those would be signs of Lyme Disease. If it does happen, it is easily treated with antibiotics. Just do like they said and watch it. I would be concerned, too, but hopefully it will heal normally and you won't have any other issues, but if it gets worse just bring her into the vet.
