I thought the same thing happened to Ivan, my one Biewer this past Spring. I took him to the Vet but fortunately she couldn't find anything wrong.

Either way, she said if caught early and treated there is no reason to believe nothing but a full recovery.

Actually, I think this happens more often with breeds like this because not only are they closer to the ground (weeds/twigs, sharp objects) but they get groomed regularly. Lots of times this is a grooming accident when brushing. You know how quick these guys can be!
