I use the PEK both ways, as a hair conditioner and watered down in a spray bottle for daily brushing. With Reno's long coat it takes a good tablespoon of PEK rubbed between my palms then smoothed over his coat - then I comb it through so that it comes in contact with every hair strand possible. For a daily grooming spray, in a small spray bottle, I use about a 1/2 tsp PEK, fill with warm water and shake like crazy to get it mixed up.
