You mentioned it's boring walking in the same area every day: I live in the city, but don't have a car. So we are walking around the same neighbourhood every day. It's boring, but I often listen to podcasts and I make a point to notice new little things. Going to visit my in-laws in the country (1.5 hour drive away) is awesome because we can let Indy off her leash to run around while we walk and check out their (huge) yard.
Just wanted remind you it can get boring walking the same route no matter where you are, country or city. It's up to you to make it worth the walk
