I told the husband to quit giving in to her, but he will always slip her a little something. Also, I am not a fan of her licking in the face. Anyone. And she will jump up on my kids, lick them in the face, and also jump up on my Mom too (and Mom is not a huge 'Dog Person' as is).

She also chases me through the house and nips at my feet and my pants.

I love her so much, but I would love to find a way to handle these behaviors. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Overall, she is a good dog and not a terror, but she gets her way 99% of the time, and if I am doing something wrong, I want to correct it before it gets out of hand.
Your husband is rewarding the barking, so until you can teach him not to reward her, she will continue to bark. You could keep a can of pennies on the table, and shake it and say no every time she barks. After you are through eating he could give her a little something, but never at the table. Your first job should be to teach your husband, he should learn fast because you can talk to him, but if he's anything like most husbands . . .
