Welcome to YT. Something I think might help with the problem you're having with your girl is to teach her "drop-it." You can do this as part of a play session with your dog. If she will play and if she likes to tug, even better. As you are playing with your dog, and tugging, offer her a treat and say "drop it" and praise and give the treat, a very yummy treat, when she lets the toy go. Start playing again, and again offer her the treat and say "drop it" and praise. Do this over and over and over and be sure to play with her in between the "drop its", until it becomes uber obvious that she understands what "drop it" means, then start only intermittently give the treats, but always praise. Keep it fun and make a point of doing the play sessions, alot! You only need to do a few minutes at a time, but do it a lot. When you know she understands you, then use it to see if you can get something away from her that she doesn't want to give up, but treat it like you are training her over again and use a treat and praise her. Only try if for a trouble situation when she is really good at the "drop-it" first. You're the boss, you control the game, but it works better when she likes to do it too.

Good luck. If you try this, let us know how it works for you.
