When I see Yorkies like that ... the bigger heads and the cobby bodies, it reminds me of dwarfism. In humans, dwarfs have larger size bodies and heads, but shorter limbs (relative to the size of the heads and bodies). Is it possible that breeders that go for this look are actually breeding Yorkies with dwarfism? Does that genetic possibility exist in Yorkies? If so, that brings a whole big can of worms, because dwarfism has a good bit of other health problems that are part of the package, it's just not about being short.
