She has a few areas that need improving, but she is overall a good dog. She isn't destructive, and she is house broken. I guess that is enough to be thankful for.

I know that she is just showing love with the licking, so I feel horrible to scold her for it, even though it is a behavior that I am not too fond of. She is so sweet and loving, and it is so hard to discipline her. When I tell her 'no' sternly when she chases me and nips my feet, she hovers down low, tucks her tail between her legs, and looks at me so sad. I don't want her to fear me or anyone; I just want her to listen. In her mind, she probably thinks it is a game and wants to play.
