While genetics and heredity factors in to much of what a puppy will be at adulthood. Each pup grows at a different rate. Some will look like little toads, since they tend to the milk bar quicker and eat more. Most of your pup's weight is milk fat and will equalize once the running and romping hits full swing.

Some pups will grow very quickly and stop, others will grow slowly and have growth spurtz after a year of age.

Remember during the first year nutrition is the most important thing, so don't hold back food.
