Our kitty loves Denali but she was very wary of him for the first week and would just sit on the dresser watching him. Now they are best friends and playmates and love each other. I think it definitely depends on the cat though. Personally i feel like a good thing about cats is that as long as they are okay around other animals and it wouldn't be too upsetting for the cat if you got a dog, then bringing in a puppy would be okay because the cat can always find a way to ignore the dog and stay out of its way. Although if thats the case, make sure the kitty gets lots of love too so he/she doesn't feel left out!
