Congrats on your new baby!!! 4 months is not old at all. It is actually the recommended age for yorkie babies to go to their forever homes. As far as house training goes, just be patient. Set a schedule, and stick to it! Since he is so young, take him out often and stay out for a good 15 or 20 mins. if he doesn't go, immediately put him back in the crate for 10 mins and then try again. If the crate is bothering you, you can try the ex-pen with a piddle pad inside. When he's older and able to hold it longer, you can retry outside.

My vet said that our pups stop growing at 18 months. You can guess but really it isn't for certain. I think it's double their weight at 12 weeks.

As long as you have a full blood panel done to check their liver function, neutering will not be a problem. Discuss it with your vet, and wait until his growth plates close (your vet will tell you). While he's under, you can also have him microchipped and have any retained baby teeth pulled. No need to put him under again for either procedure.

Welcome to YT and if you ever need advice or answers feel free to ask!
