My suggestion would be to switch foods. Gas can be so uncomfortable and if it's frequent, it's usually a sign that some ingredient is tough on the digestive tract, and causing excessive gas. So this a newer food for him then? You may want to compare ingredients of his new food to his old food, as this could give you some clues on what to avoid .
