I know your pain sweetie. It is amazing to me you had the strength and focus to take him to the church right away. My Ellie is still in her box...hidden away. Not sure where I want her remains to be free. Gus Gus is with you all around you always. Listen to him in the breeze, in the flutter of hummingbird wings, in the falling of the leaves, in the smell of sweet flowers, in the touch of a sweet child. He is everywhere because of you and your love and honor for him. You were a wonderful mommie to Gus Gus...and now we ask for little glimpses of peace to walk in and help continue to comfort. It has been three months since we lost Ellie (at 8 months old after surgery)- in one way it feels like yesterday the pain can still be so sharp. In another way- I can also feel the healing that has occurred when I just couldn't move ahead. Much because of the kind yorkie community. May this also happen soon for you. Gus Gus be at rest and know you were loved by so many.
