My first response was going to be: you can read all you want to about potty training on the internet and/or in a book. The good results are in the "doing" not the in the instructing.
But after some thought, I think it might be a good idea for some people for the following reason: they may also teach the way a dog "thinks" and why some things work and don't work because of the dog's thinking. We, as dog owners, sometimes don't understand the subtleties of what our actions are teaching a dog vs what we want the dog to learn. And this gets in the way of effective potty training. Dogs learn very differently than the way humans think, and getting this in the class will be worth the $15. |
