Next time you take him to the groomer ask if you can stay and watch. I have seen some groomers that I would never allow to work on my dog. In front of the customer they are sweet as can be but sometimes behind your back they can be hateful. I use to work at a Kennel and saw this happen frequently. I stepped in a few times and it didn't make me very popular.
