Try not to worry! I dropped all three of mine off and didn't think about it until they called to say that they were ready to go home. It's out of our hands once we drop them off and losing control is always hard. I will never be afraid of medicine despite the risks because vets have saved my dogs lives and are important to their overall well being. Just be ready to take care of your little groggy one when it's time for her to come home
