Also for my Yorkie I want what are called muddies. This is a plasticy, goretex type of outfit that covers their legs and underbelly, with a cut out for their privates, and then with straps and fasteners go up over their back .. oh yes also the chest is covered.
We hike and I have this for my two big dogs, but can't find one in a Yorkie size. This protects their hair from mud, burrs, and other nasties as you are going through the bush.

Ooooh, do you have a link or picture of this item? I'd be interested to see what they look like...since I'm always afraid to take the girls out anywhere except for sidewalk walking...for fear of what could get stuck on them...worst of all, tic's!
