Since Teddy-Boo was adopted...I've been busy again with a new little foster baby, Miss Queenie! Just thought I'd share...
Looking for a New Home... QUEENIE
Take a look at lil' Miss Queenie! Since Queenie has gotten a little sprucing up since her arrival at YTNR, it seemed only fitting that her bio needed some sprucing up as well.
YTNR rescued Queenie from a high kill animal shelter in the LA area after her person chose not to retrieve her after being picked up as a stray. This was the second time Queenie had been to this shelter…both times she was picked up as a stray but, this time nobody cared to come for her.
Queenie is a 6 year old female Yorkie who weighs approximately 8 pounds, has been spayed, microchipped and is up to date on her shots. She is potty trained and will opt for grass before ever considering using a piddle pad like her foster siblings do. After all, being a “Queen”…she has an image to uphold!
Speaking of her Yorkie foster siblings, she gets along nicely with them (except for the kitty!) and they have been showing her how to play with toys. It appeared she didn’t know what to do with toys but, now can be seen proudly carrying her little stuffed pink piggy all around the house.
Queenie likes to take naps on her foster mom’s bed but, at night time she prefers to sleep in her little doggy bed. She sleeps all night and has a bladder made of steel and will politely wait until 7 am to have a potty break!
She also has a love for daily walks and running in her backyard and investigating everything. Since she was picked up as a stray twice, we are not sure if this happened because she was a “runner”…which is why we have already taught her the sit & stay command.
Queenie will do best in a home with a family that has at least one stay at home person and she wouldn’t mind a fur-sibling or two to play with but, no children please. She would like to keep up her fitness routine so, a daily walk will need to be on your schedule! Since Queenie loves her backyard, she will require a safe & secure fenced yard.
From the day Queenie arrived at her foster mom’s home, she has proven to be a lil’ charmer as well as the “Queenie” and believe me, she takes those responsibilities seriously. Her adoption donation is $300 dollars (microchip included). If you are interested in having a lil’ Queenie in your life, please fill out an application today!
