One of my girls(actually snoozing in my lap now)--she started to lose weight around introduction of food time, and we noticed her spitting up food--and the weird pulsating in her neck(like a tenting look)--and the strange noise whenever she'd cry. We did barium rads-and it turned out, she had megaesoughagus. The vet I worked for at the time, was the breeder, and was on vacation-so I was caring for the pups-the relief vet felt it was best to put the puppy down bc of the complications with the condition, as well as the fact, that she wasn't even a lb--she was very happy, played well-ate her gruel I created, lol. We gave the stinker a chance and happily--she beat the odds and grew out of it She joined my family permanately and is doing awesome--no problems at all.
