Default Picky eater

Hello;
I know the problem well and had it with my previous dog. (No longer an issue with my current dog, who LOVES his food!!!) The 'picky dog' also would take her food onto the carpet and eat it there at first, but later did eat from the dish.
Is it possible she just does not like the food?? One trick that worked for me was advice from YT, and that was to sprinkle a little parmesan cheese on the food. Another trick I used was to mix the kibble (if that is what you are feeding) with a little canned food or with mixed-in soft treats that she liked.
Does she go for any food and /or treats? Have you tried Nutrical (spelling???) to give her some energy when she is not eating much.
She is still probably getting used to her new home and may well improve with a little more time.
I do understand how bad you feel that the little girl is not eating well, but I am sure all will be OK soon.
Good Luck and enjoy the new pup.
