It is pretty much what FlDebra said. It depends on the flight crew and your fellow passengers. I'm not much of a traveler, but Kaji and I have taken a trip on a plane together. I'm not going to lie, I did a lot of no-no's in the process. I walked him through the airport, which wasn't a big deal at LAX. While we were waiting for the flight, my family and I picked a secluded bench and we built a fort with our luggage. Kaji was only in his carrier while we boarded, during takeoff and landing. All the other times he was on my lap. He really enjoyed looking out the window!
