I have other animals...a cat, and even a shih-tzu that's my "part-time baby" (he's my grandparents dog but he lives there AND here), but there was just something about Kelli...and she's the reason that we're making our next baby a Yorkie, too. I never realized how much I LOVED the breed, truly loved the breed, until we had her. I always wanted one, but we got her and that was just it. I was so excited when I found this forum, it was SUCH a help through all of the things that we experienced being first-time yorkie parents.
Someone else described it perfectly, but the bond between a yorkie and it's chosen family is just wonderful and so sweet. To see Kelli's excitement when each of us would come home or even when we'd take her to relative's houses to play...she just loved EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. They're such special little babies. |
