This pup is almost 4 weeks old...I have had a few in the 10 oz range at that age, but they were nursing well and had a slow steady gain each week..most were born at 1 oz...I have a a few who were in the 12 to 14 oz at 8 weeks...but I always kept them until they were about 6 months and made a solid 2 pounds...
IMO, a puppy that is 4 oz at 4 weeks is very unlikely to be healthy as an adult..only time will tell and the adult weight would be the least of my concerns right now. Wishing you good luck. |
