Enchilila, hmm, I use iphoto on my mac, and it's a snap, but I'm not sure how people on PC's do it. Typically, the camera you buy comes with software for downloading pics from your camera. If that's what's obsolete, you might go to the camera-maker's website and see if they have a patch or upgrade. You might even e-mail them and see what they say. Another thing you might try is just plug the camera into the computer, find the icon for the camera, open it and manually drag the pictures onto your desktop.

SUZYQ15, not sure what brought about the change for you, but pictures from the camera do generally have to be shrunk before you can post them. I usually size mine 4" x 6" or so and don't have any problems. You have to keep them under 200 kilobytes each.

If you don't have software for shrinking pictures, you might try going to Resize Images online. You can resize right online.
