I feed twice a day, 1/2 cup total for my 10-pound adult, but he also gets training treats throughout the day. If I treat a lot, I cut down on meals. Sometimes the treats are his kibble.

Since all dogs are different, I weigh mine regularly to give me an idea if I'm under- or over-feeding, then I adjust accordingly. Of course, that only works for adult weights.
