I have never seen a 4 ounces puppy at 26 days old. The tiniest puppy i have seen at birth was 2.5 ounces. Usually , here or in my family or any friend's litters i have seen , by week one puppies are all double what they were born ... at 26 days, that is about 3 and a half weeks , puppies are usually eyes open and starting to walk , they respond to our voices , etc...
Have you thought that puppy may have hydrocephalus ? The swelling on the head is a sign.
Anyways, please keep us posted . It will be very interesting to see how this tiny one develops !
And of course we are all hoping for the better.
I have one question however : How much does the parents weigh?
