OMG, I've never heard of such a thing! I hope you don't have to have Max euthanized. Is the vet saying he won't recover? And what has the vet been doing to wrack up $5,000 in expenses? Is he being seen by a specialist?

I am so sorry Max is so ill and that you are going through this. There is Care Credit that you might check out for the vet expenses. And I did see where there was a rescue on this forum that tries to help with vet expenses. I don't remember the name of it.

Gosh, I feel so bad for Max, I really do. I will be saying prayers for him and hope he can recover.
