I read somewhere that for small breed dogs people have used the cat version of Frontline on them as it is designed for cats in the same weight range as my Yorkies. I do not use chemicals on the girls...My Mom called a Holistic Vet and this is what he told her to do
1 cup of water
15 (I use 20) drops of peppermint oil, bought from natural food store
put it in a spray bottle...DO NOT spray directly on the dog!
dampen a paper towel or cloth...rub all over the dog, starting under the neck, under arms(legs) belly and on the back.
Hubby and I camp and take the girls with us...they are out side in their pen all day and have never had a flea on them....good luck!
