Have you tried the teething toys made out of the strong crocheted material? They have squeakers, but are really hard to get into to take it out, just because it's thoroughly knitted.. Don't know how to explain, but they're pretty hard to rip open, especially for their little teeth. My dad's dachshund and my Holly were attacking one and couldn't even come close! I couldn't believe it either! Jackson never "eats" toys. He loved this one so much, I guess.
I went and bought him the medium sized one today and he LOVES it. I would think he would be unable to open this one up so we'll see.
