OK - I know I'm going to get hammered for this - but.......my 4.7 lb yorkie has been having one green each night for the last 4 years. She loves them. I mean she really loves them. She goes nuts when she knows she's getting one. At 5 years old my vet still does not see a need for a teeth cleaning yet. Obviously, I am not going to recommend it because everyone's dog is different - but I know mine chews it pretty good - so I will continue to give it to her.
Whatever you decide - you do have to keep on eye on them when they are chewing on it. |
