These are just shirts. No buttons. The hoodies do have velcro under them, as closure.
Tags say for sizing:
XS - 6-9 inches. 2-6 lbs.
S - 10-13 inches. 7-12 lbs.
M - 14-16 inches. 13-20 lbs.
