Well, I have to admit that Liz doesn't get around too many men, and she could have a greater dislike of them than she does to women. She is pretty much a one person dog, like Isla. She is sweet to my mother when I am gone, but when I get home, forget it, she doesn't want anything to do with my mother.
I don't know what her first owners were like, but I do know that Marlene, the woman who owned her before myself, and only had her two or three months, took Lizzy to work with her. I believe Marlene was good to her, just couldn't keep her after having had an accident. I don't think the first owners were that great.
I've tried having strangers feed her, taking her everywhere and anywhere, heck I even do agility with her and I have come to the realization that I am not going to get her to change.
Thanks for letting me know Liz isn't alone. She is the first dog I've had any kind of aggression issue with and it leaves me at a loss.
