i'm soo sorry that this happened- I Know how terribe it is after a yorkie bites a stranger...
Toby Hates strangers- women he will completely shun, but if a man comes in toby MUST be locked away... a while back we were getting renovations done and toby was behind two closed doors (he was in the back hall in his bed with that door closed and the kitchen door leading to it- i wasnt taking any chances) but one of the workmen had been in the kitchen (without saying as he had no reason) and didnt close the door, so as my granny came in from the backyard Toby got out and jumped straight for the groin! biting his calf on the way down. thankfully the man was wearing heavy jeans so the skin wasnt broken, but i seriously thought he was going to try and get toby destroyed...

IMO (where Toby is concerned) i blame the breeder. he was sold at 6 weeks (for £600 as he had perfect stud potential) with his full registration to a woman with two young kids (one of whom had a dog phobia!) who had him crated in the spare room from approx. 7am to 6pm then from 10pm to 5am... this lady then gave him to my granny at 7months old as the daughter (the 6yr old owner!) couldn't be bothered taking care of him, and her brother 'was mean to him'.
so, at 8yrs old Toby has grade 3 lp, a recurred cataract, severe tracheal collapse (since we got him) and is being tested for a thyroid problem... now, theres a responsible breeder for ya!

p.s. sorry that i went off on a bit of a rant there!
