It's definitely cold here in the winter, but I think a short cut will make wearing sweaters easier for her - less matting! Our girls are 97% indoor dogs. We use a potty in the garage because we don't have a fence, so they stay warm in the house with me all day while I work. During the winter, they really only get out for quick walks on extra warm days or to visit the groomer.
