Ive now worked at two different grooming shops and watched a handful of groomers. Although its pretty much the same, there are alot of variations to the puppy cut or the teddy bear cut. The best thing to do like everyone else said is to bring it in to the groomer.
And you should try grooming him yourself (after holiday picture time). I know its scary at first, because you dont want to mess it up. But I figured out that, since im so picky about what I want and dont want cut on my Yorkie, the only way to get what I want is to do it myself. Especially after a groomer cut off 5-6 inches off hair when I instructed her not to.
