Ive flown several times with my Yorkie in the cabin with me. Once from OR to CO, another time from OR to PA. Like someone said before, they are very strict about keeping the dog in the crate. They also like you to keep the dog in the crate as long as youre in the airport. Before the flight, I would start training with your Yorkie in the crate he will be flying in. And if he still is not handling it well, you can also try a natural calming remedy like Bach's stress relief spray.
