Yes but dogs are carnivores so it shouldn't be an issue for them!
It grossed me out at first but it's really not a big deal. They just look like sticks off a tree. And every dog I've met goes crazy for them. I couldn't live without bully sticks, they keep Jackson busy when I can't pay attention to him.
