 Dry Itchy skin. HELP!
My Yorkie is approaching 9 months and since the day I can remember has had itchy, dry, flaky skin. I have tried one brand of fish oil in his food, and have switched my shampoo and conditioner to an oatmeal gentle formula. Along with his dry skin, I have noticed that he chews and licks his front legs quite a bit and scratches his face and ears more than usual. Now, to me of course this sounds like some kind of an allergy, but I have no idea! I have switched my dogs food from Iams puppy to Blue Buffalo and nothing has changed. If anyone could give me some suggestions on what has worked for their puppy's dry skin that would be greatly appreciated! I realize that much of the answer to dry skin is trial and error and every dogs experience with one product may be a little different, but at this point Im frustrated! Help! |
