Some reasons why I will not let my dogs go outside alone:
Hawks
Owls
Turkey buzzards
Opossums
Fox
Other people's dogs (even if you fenced your yard -- some jump high!)
Fire Ants
Cow Killer Ants
Bees, wasps, hornets
Slugs (just learned about them carrying lung worms to dogs)
Copperhead snakes
Rattle snakes (regular and pygmy)
Cottonmouth water moccasin
Coral snake
Mushrooms
Getting stuck in chain link fence
Swimming Pool
Theft!!!!
Horrible people that abuse animals
Getting caught in bad weather
Overheating
Getting caught in the blackberry thorny vines
Falling into a new frog/snake/mole hole
Not to mention all of the untold things they might eat or drink that could make them sick or choke them and you not know it. They are so little and they deserve someone to watch over them! |
