Have you thought about crate training? The crate should be large enough so your pup is comfortable, but not so big they can get away from their mess - most will not mess in this situation. Yorkies need to be put on a schedule during the day so they know they will be let out every couple of hours or so and watched to make sure they are actually going outside. It's more about training ourselves first and then they finally just figure things out. Both of our Yorkies stay all night in their crates from about 10:00 pm until 8:20 am the next morning. Mabel is 5 months old, just turned three pounds and has been very good lately. Good luck and I hope this helps!
